Job summary

The Ministry of Community Empowerment seeks a Cybersecurity Specialist to safeguard enterprise environments, strengthen resilience, and ensure compliance with international standards.

You will manage PAM, EDR, VA/PT, VPN, DLP, and ISMS programs, collaborate with stakeholders to identify risks, and drive improvements in security controls and awareness.

Additionally, you will contribute to risk management, security operations, and ongoing ISO/IEC 27001 practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• Hands‑on expertise in PAM, EDR, VA/PT, VPN, DLP, and ISO/IEC 27001.
• Strong understanding of frameworks, risk management, vulnerability management, and security operations.
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, Security+, ISO 27001 Lead Implementer/Auditor are desirable.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and stakeholder management skills.

• Conduct Vulnerability Assessments and Penetration Testing (VA/PT), coordinate remediation activities, and strengthen the organization's security posture.
• Configure, maintain, and support Virtual Private Network (VPN) solutions to ensure secure remote connectivity.
• Implement and manage Data Loss Prevention (DLP) controls and data classification frameworks to protect sensitive organizational information.
• Support the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the ISO/IEC 27001 Information Security Management System (ISMS), ensuring compliance with security policies and best practices.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify security risks, recommend mitigation strategies, and enhance cybersecurity awareness across the organization.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• Proven experience in enterprise cybersecurity operations with hands‑on expertise in PAM, EDR, VA/PT, VPN, DLP, and ISO/IEC 27001.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, risk management, vulnerability management, and security operations.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, Security+, ISO 27001 Lead Implementer/Auditor, or equivalent are highly desirable.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and stakeholder management skills.
