Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B.), with a Master’s degree preferred.
• At least 3 years of legal work experience specializing in UAE law and common law, with preference for crypto/blockchain/fintech.
• Licensing: UAE lawyer license or license in common-law country preferred.
• Fluent English required; Arabic and Chinese language skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert legal advice on UAE law, international law, and crypto-specific regulations.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts related to encryption and blockchain technology to mitigate risks.
• Advise on compliance for UAE and international markets in cryptocurrency and blockchain.
• Oversee dispute resolution processes: litigation, mediation, arbitration; coordinate with external counsel.
• Protect the company’s IP, especially digital assets and blockchain technology; support IP matters.
