Job summary

Penspen is seeking a Senior Corrosion / Material Engineer (Offshore) to be based in Abu Dhabi, UAE. You will lead corrosion/materials engineering for major offshore oil and gas projects.

The role requires a minimum of 12 years in engineering with at least 6 years in corrosion for oil, gas, or petrochemical environments, and PMC experience is preferred. Proficiency with MS Word and Excel is expected.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in engineering with at least 6 years in corrosion for oil and gas/petrochemical projects.
• PM/PMC experience is preferable.
• Knowledge of Saudi Aramco Desktop Standards is beneficial.
• Exposure to construction and commissioning phases is beneficial but not mandatory.
• Proficient in MS Word and Excel.

Knowledge / Experience (Skills)

• At least Twelve (12) years of experience; Six (6) years of them within the field of Corrosion Engineering for major Oil and Gas/Petrochemical projects
• PMC experience at similar role for at least several years is preferable.
• Knowledge of Saudi Aramco Desktop Standard and procedures/practices is beneficial.
• Previous exposure to construction and commissioning phases is beneficial but not mandatory.
• Computer literate with all MS Packages, particularly Word and Excel proficient.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or closely related Engineering discipline with special studies in Corrosion/Materials/Metallurgic.
