Job summary

A leading contracting firm in the UAE is seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to oversee contractual matters on infrastructure and building projects. The role requires 8-12 years of UAE/GCC experience, particularly with FIDIC contracts. The ideal candidate will lead negotiations, ensure compliance with local laws, and handle claims. Proficiency in Arabic is mandatory, along with strong analytical and leadership skills. This position offers a competitive salary of 28-30k AED per month based on experience.

Qualifications

  • 8-12 years of UAE/GCC experience in contract administration.
  • Proven track record of handling and settling claims.
  • Experience with FIDIC contracts (Red, Yellow, Silver Books preferred).
  • Experience on international or large-scale projects is desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Administer and manage contractual matters per FIDIC contracts.
  • Provide commercial advice on UAE-based projects.
  • Prepare and manage claims and contract variations.
  • Lead negotiations for favorable commercial outcomes.
  • Monitor project budgets and cash flow.
  • Review subcontractor payment applications.
  • Ensure compliance with UAE construction laws.
  • Maintain accurate contract documentation.
  • Support dispute resolution processes.
  • Prepare regular reports on contractual risks.
