Job summary

KPMG in Dubai seeks an Assistant Manager to lead and monitor multiple engagements, ensuring on-time delivery and high quality. You will train teams on regulatory changes and industry trends affecting Financial Services clients, and drive improvements in service delivery such as digital shift and standardization of workpapers.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field, professional qualifications (CIA/CA/ACCA/CISA/CFE/CRMA/BCM/CCGP), 6–7 years of Internal Audit/ICOFR

Qualifications

• Educated up to a minimum of bachelor’s degree in accountancy, Internal Auditing, Management Accounting or the equivalent.
• Should possess relevant qualification such as CIA/CA/ACCA/CISA/CFE/CRMA/BCM/CCGP.
• With at least 6-7 years of work experience in Internal Audit, ICOFR, ERM, Corporate Governance or related QA Reviews.
• With at least 6 months of experience in assistant managerial role.
• Flawless communication skills in English are required; Arabic is a plus.
• Advanced user of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience of managing teams and 2-3 engagements simultaneously.

• Undertake internal risk management and client engagement procedures related to ICOFR, ERM, Governance and QA reviews.
• Support Engagement Partners and lead business development initiatives with Financial Services clients.
• Develop understanding of engagement, quality and risk policies to streamline Advisory processes.
• Assist Partners, lead implementing new services, and adopt KPMG methodologies and tools.

• With at least 6 months of experience in assistant managerial role
• Flawless communication skills in English are required. Arabic will be a plus.
• Advanced user and knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc)
• Experience of managing teams and working on approximately 2-3 engagements simultaneously.
• Possess an analytical approach and inquisitive mind.
