Responsibilities

  • Provide commercial advice to internal clients to minimize risk and maximize investment returns.
  • Lead procurement processes by preparing RFPs, tender documents, bid evaluations, and recommendations.
  • Oversee feasibility studies and contribute to presentations for project development.
  • Adapt standard contract forms with Group Legal for consultant and contractor agreements.
  • Manage all pre‑ and post‑contract Quantity Surveying activities including cost estimating, monthly valuations, and final accounts.
  • Monitor construction insurance policies and ensure compliance across projects.
  • Report monthly on portfolio budgets, costs, and risk exposure.
  • Handle claims and disputes in line with contractual obligations and best practice standards.
  • Maintain and update internal cost databases for benchmarking and planning.
  • Lead and mentor commercial staff, ensuring team capability and adherence to procurement procedures.
  • Identify training needs and support the professional development of team members.
  • Review, improve, and implement administrative processes for operational efficiency.
  • Prepare, approve, and maintain accurate documentation including RFA and BCP reports.
  • Ensure adherence to organizational approval processes and group policies.
