Job summary

American Hospital Dubai seeks a Clinical Coordinator for the OPD Psychiatry & Behavioral Clinic to oversee operations, care quality, and resource management. You will lead nursing staff, ensure licensure compliance, and promote evidence-based practice within the clinic, while coordinating with physicians and families.

The role requires a nursing degree with RN registration and BLS, and experience in psychiatry nursing. UAE licensing guidelines apply for local candidates and expatriates alike.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing (3 years full-time) or Nursing degree (2 years) with RN registration in listed countries.
• UAE nationals may be exempted from experience and clinical training requirements.
• Non-UAE graduates from UAE universities must complete 6 months of clinical training post-graduation.
• Must hold valid license/registration to practice in home country/last country.
• Minimum valid BLS (or equivalent) certification.
• Postgraduate qualification in Nursing Management/Advanced Clinical Specialty preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates safe, efficient nursing care in Psychiatry and Behavioral Health.
• Acts as a clinical resource to staff.
• Collaborates with patients, families and professionals to improve outcomes.
• Mentors junior nurses and promotes evidence-based care.
• Maintains budgeting and resource use for the clinic.
• Ensures staff licensure and departmental competencies.
