Job summary

Allocation Assist Middle East seeks an experienced Consultant Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon in Dubai to lead surgical care for cleft lip and palate and related craniofacial conditions. This role requires fellowship or advanced training with a focus on multidisciplinary cleft programs.

The successful candidate will assess patients, plan complex reconstructions, and contribute to long-term pediatric cleft care within a leading medical team in the UAE.

Qualifications

• Medical degree from a recognized medical school.
• Completed recognized postgraduate training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
• Recognized Board Certification, Specialist, or Consultant qualification in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.

Responsibilities

• Provide consultant-level assessment and surgical management for patients with cleft lip and palate.
• Perform cleft lip repair and cleft palate repair procedures.
• Undertake secondary cleft procedures where clinically appropriate.
• Perform alveolar bone grafting and cleft-related maxillofacial reconstruction.
• Manage associated craniofacial anomalies within the scope of the specialty.
• Assess patients before surgery and develop individualized surgical treatment plans.
• Provide postoperative care and monitor surgical outcomes and complications.
• Participate in multidisciplinary cleft and craniofacial clinics.
• Collaborate closely with Plastic Surgery, Pediatric Surgery, ENT, Orthodontics, Pediatric Dentistry, Speech and Language Therapy, Audiology, Genetics, and other relevant specialties.
• Participate in the long-term multidisciplinary management and follow-up of cleft patients.
• Contribute to clinical protocols, quality improvement, and patient-safety initiatives.
• Participate in teaching, training, and supervision of residents and junior physicians.
• Contribute to clinical research, audits, and service development.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and comply with applicable UAE healthcare regulations and hospital policies.
