Job summary

Joinimagine seeks a detail-oriented Claims Senior Retrospective Agent to review and reconcile healthcare claims data, ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance. You will work with internal teams and providers to resolve discrepancies and support financial integrity.

Qualifications

• - Bachelor’s degree in Medical/Finance/Business or Insurance or related field preferred.
• - 2–3 years in claims reconciliation, financial analysis, or similar.
• - Insurance/healthcare industry experience preferred.
• - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• - Proficient in Excel and data analysis tools.
• - Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• - Strong organizational and time management skills.
• - Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• - Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• - Familiarity with claims processing systems and software.
• - Understanding of regulatory requirements in claims/reconciliation.
• - Knowledge of accounting principles.
• - Legally allowed to work in country of operation.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze claims to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Process claims adjustments and corrections as needed.
• Reconcile claims data with financial records and systems.
• Identify/discover discrepancies and ensure timely reconciliation.
• Analyze claims data to identify trends and patterns.
• Prepare reports and presentations on claims performance.
• Use data tools to improve reconciliation efficiency.
• Assist audits related to claims and reconciliation.
• Maintain organized audit documentation.
• Collaborate with finance, processors, and customer service to resolve issues.
• Communicate with stakeholders to address discrepancies.
• Engage with healthcare providers on rejection ratios and reconciliation findings.
• Conduct reconciliation meetings with stakeholders as required.
• Perform other ad hoc duties as needed.
