Job summary

AECOM is seeking an Inspector - Civil Structure and Tunnels Surveyor in Dubai, UAE to verify construction surveying activities across civil, structural, tunnel and rail-related works. The inspector ensures setting-out, alignment, levels, coordinates, and as-built data comply with drawings and project requirements.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in construction surveying, site inspection or engineering survey works.
• Experience may include large buildings, civil infrastructure, transportation, tunnels and utility projects.
• Proven track record of working on large-scale rail construction projects.
• Previous experience working with consultants, PMCs or supervision teams is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Verify and produce survey inspection reports.
• Review setting-out verification records.
• Verify control points and benchmark reports.
• Check levels, coordinates and alignment records.
• Review dimensional accuracy reports against approved project requirements.
• Verify as-built survey records and supporting information.
• Prepare survey discrepancy and deviation reports.
