Job summary

KEO International Consultants seeks a talented Inspector - Civil / Structural for our Abu Dhabi, UAE team. The role focuses on supervising site works, reviewing drawings for compliance, and ensuring safety and quality on large-scale building projects in the UAE.

Successful candidates will have around 9 years of Civil Engineering experience and a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering. The firm offers a hybrid working arrangement and a supportive career development culture.

Qualifications

• 9 years work experience in Civil Engineering.
• Experience on large-scale building projects in UAE.
• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Attending to Inspection Requests (IRs) submitted by the contractor and taking appropriate action in a timely manner.
• Reviewing submitted shop drawings against contract drawings and specifications, local codes and statutory requirements and international best practice.
• Reporting any works found not in accordance with approved drawings and specifications to stakeholders.
• Monitoring quality of works and assess health and environmental safety on site, ensuring contractual compliance.
• Maintaining records for daily activities on site with progress photos for inspection.
