Job summary

A major engineering company in the United Arab Emirates is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor Civil to manage cost estimation and tender preparation for oil & gas projects. The candidate should possess 5-10 years of relevant experience and be proficient in AutoCAD and cost estimation software. This role requires coordinating with teams and validating contractor work against approved specifications.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of experience in oil & gas projects.
• Strong knowledge of civil / structural elements and embedded items.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and cost estimation software.

Responsibilities

• Manage cost estimation and tender preparation for oil & gas projects.
• Develop detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQs) from engineering drawings.
• Coordinate with engineers and site staff for accurate quantity tracking.

Skills

Knowledge of design codes: AISC, BS, IS, Eurocode

Civil / structural elements knowledge

Proficiency in AutoCAD

Proficiency in MS Excel

Cost estimation software proficiency
