Job summary

India Abroad in Ajman, UAE, seeks an experienced Civil Engineer to join our construction team. You will design, plan and execute civil engineering projects such as roads, bridges, buildings, airports and dams, and monitor progress on site.

The ideal candidate holds a Civil Engineering degree or diploma, has 5+ years' experience in construction, and is proficient with AutoCAD or similar design tools. Excellent problem-solving and teamwork skills are required.

Qualifications

• Degree/diploma in Civil Engineering or related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Civil Engineer in a construction environment
• Proven experience with AutoCAD software or similar design programs
• Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team

Responsibilities

• Design and construct civil engineering projects such as roads, bridges, buildings, airports and dams
• Monitor progress of work in the field and provide technical advice on problems encountered
• Prepare cost estimates and technical specifications for civil engineering projects
• Supervise the construction site to ensure compliance with safety regulations
• Test soil composition and analyze survey reports to estimate potential construction problems
• Inspect project sites to monitor progress and ensure conformance to design requirements
• Prepare reports regarding project progress, budgets and proposals.
