Job summary

Etihad Airways in United Arab Emirates seeks experienced certifying Aircraft Engineers to join our Technical Operations team. You will certify maintenance activities, lead Aircraft Technicians, and ensure work complies with regulatory and company standards across our diverse fleet.

As an Aircraft Engineer, you will manage safety, quality, and efficiency while guiding a skilled team. The role requires 3+ years of certifying experience and a strong track record in line or base maintenance

Qualifications

• Valid Aircraft Maintenance License (GCAA / EASA Part-66 / ICAO Type convertible to GCAA).
• Minimum of 3 years of certifying experience on at least two Etihad aircraft type ratings (Level 3) — Boeing 777 / 787 or Airbus 320 / 350 / 380.
• Minimum of 7–10 years of aircraft maintenance experience, including at least 5 years of certifying experience in a Line or Base/Light Maintenance environment.

Responsibilities

• Certify own work and the work of others after verifying that tasks have been performed in accordance with approved data and within the scope of authorization.
• Complete all documentation accurately and on time, in accordance with company procedures.
• Carry out maintenance in compliance with company, health and safety, and airport regulations.
• Provide guidance and assistance to Technicians to ensure safe and effective working practices.
• Ensure equipment and work areas are maintained in a clean, serviceable, and safe condition.
