Job Requirements:

KBR is seeking a highly skilled Cathodic Protection Engineer based at KBR Abu Dhabi Operating Center, UAE. The candidate will join a growing team of Materials & Corrosion Engineers supporting various Oil & Gas projects in the Middle East & Africa region.

The candidate should have proven experience in CP Materials & Corrosion in Greenfield and Brownfield engineering projects, with a good understanding of Cathodic Protection and Corrosion deliverables such as CP System Design Basis, Material Selection, CP Scope of Work, Vendor Document Reviews, CP System Design, Material Take Offs, and CP Design Reports.

Key Skills & Technical Competencies:

• BSc / Degree in Materials, Metallurgy, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering, or equivalent.
• NACE/AMPP CP Level 3 Certification (minimum).
• Experience in developing CP Scope of Work, Design Reports, Calculations, General Arrangement Drawings, and layout plans.
• Knowledge in Materials & Corrosion deliverables during FEED & Detailed Engineering phases.
• Experience in developing/reviewing CP Procedures like DCVG, CIPS, CP Commissioning.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in Oil & Gas engineering projects with demonstrable CP experience.
• Familiarity with relevant industry standards and practices.
• Strong skills in technical report writing, presentation, communication, and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Job Responsibilities and Requirements:

• Prepare CP Scope of Work, Design Philosophy, and Material Take Offs.
• Develop CP Design Reports and Calculations.
• Review CP Vendor Documents.
• Support materials and corrosion deliverables, including Material Selection and Corrosion Control Documents.
• Produce calculations and technical reports as per project needs.
• Assess the adequacy of existing Cathodic Protection Systems.
• Apply and stay updated with relevant industry standards and practices.

Experience Required:

• At least 15 years in Cathodic Protection and Corrosion Engineering within Oil & Gas industry.
• Experience in Engineering Design and EPC projects.
• Proven ability to produce detailed technical reports and presentations for clients.

Mandatory:
