A leading financial technology company is seeking a Business Development professional to drive growth of their platform across the Middle East and Africa. The successful candidate will build partnerships with banks, communicate strategic growth plans, and improve sales processes. Experience in tech product sales, analytical skills, and a focus on customer success are essential. The role is full-time and requires a strong understanding of the payment and regulatory landscape.
Weve launched partnerships with banks across the globe. Some of the banks that leverage our correspondent offering today are Unicredit Raiffeissen Bank International Standard Chartered Morgan Stanley Wio and Monzo. Were looking for someone to drive the growth of Wise Platform in the Middle East and Africa - by joining our Business Development team and selling our payment solution to more banks.
Youll work closely with the global Wise Platform Business Development team - as well as with other functions including Pre-Sales Product Management Compliance & Legal Implementation and Engineering.
Your mission:
Work with the Wise Platform team to build maintain and close a strong pipeline of partnerships with banks in the Middle East and Africa
Create and communicate our strategy and plan for partnership growth in the region
Work on projects to improve our sales processes and approaches both within the region and globally such as helping iterate our pitches and messaging our pricing strategies go to market efforts - or anything else that helps drive growth
Collaborate closely with the Product teams to share valuable feedback (based on your conversations with prospects) to guide product roadmap and improve end customer experience
Youve sold tech products ideally API solutions but you may have alternatively sold traditional Correspondent Services into banks or large enterprises - and can show end to end high impact partnership delivery here
Youre hands on - happy to lead your own discussions as well as supporting others with their pipelines
Youre as comfortable helping a partner solution the best way to use Wise Platform as you are discussing commercial and legal terms.
Youre analytical - data driven on where the team should be spending time and on scoping and sizing opportunities
You have a strong head for economics - being responsible for owning and supporting financial negotiations with partners
You are customer-focused. At Wise they always come first so you need to be enthusiastic about helping our customers and delivering on our mission
You are familiar with the regulatory landscape and understand how international payments work today
