Job summary

Al Marwan Group in the UAE seeks an experienced Estimator in Buildings to prepare accurate, competitive cost estimates for building projects across Sharjah and the Northern Emirates. You will analyze architectural and engineering drawings, assess material, labor, regulatory and logistical costs, and maintain project profitability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or quantity surveying.
• 35 years of experience in UAE building construction estimation.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Candy/CCS and advanced MS Excel.
• Strong knowledge of Sharjah Municipality (SM) and SEWA regulations.
• Excellent analytical, negotiation and communication skills.
• Fluency in English and Arabic is a significant advantage.

Responsibilities

• Review tender documents drawings and specifications to prepare detailed cost estimates
• Perform accurate quantity take-offs for civil structural and finishing works
• Source and negotiate quotations from subcontractors and material suppliers
• Prepare comprehensive BOQs and pricing schedules aligned with market rates
• Conduct site visits to assess project conditions and cost implications
• Identify potential financial risks and scope gaps
