Job Description:

Senior BIM Manager

Abu Dhabi, UAE

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior BIM Manager to join our team! In this role you will get to support in implementing BIM requirements for the projects and monitors the draft and final deliverables for adherence to these criteria by third-party design consultants and works contractors, including compliance with the Employer’s Information Requirements, in the Common Data Environment.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Supports in design review activities with a focus on coordination, clash detection, and reliable, consistent,
• timely date exchange. Responsible for the development and distribution of a one to two-page description of the project to all members of the project team for reference.
• Works with other managers and discipline leads to support development of project design and BIM requirements and ensures the project meets or exceeds goals established in these plans.
• Collaborates with Design Management/Construction Management team in progress meetings to review project BIM status and formulate action items, and responsible for following up on instructions and commitments associated with the project.
• Provide input to preparation of Monthly Report and Design Stage Reviews (and others as required).
• Promotes design excellence on the project through application of Quality Assurance processes.
• Monitors and reports to management on the progress of all activities within the project, including significant milestones, and any conditions, which would affect project brief, cost or schedule.
• Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent
• 10+ years’ experience working in infrastructure projects with an in-depth knowledge of the Autodesk Revit software in a similar role.
• Understanding of how the BIM process applies from start to finish.
• Experience generating Revit families and project standards.
• Experience generating new solutions to solve BIM problems.

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

• Ability to communicate technical subject matter to team members and Clients.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
• UAE Local experience is an preferable
