Senior BIM/CAD Specialist - Landscape

Dubai, UAE

Parsons is looking for a talented Senior BIM/CAD Specialist - Landscape to join our team! In this role, you will perform basic to moderately difficult design/drafting assignments requiring a working knowledge of design/drafting standards, practices, and techniques.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Provide frontline project-specific support to design teams.
• Create landscape BIM models and drawings within Revit/Civil 3D to meet client requirements from LOD 100-LOD 350.
• Experience in clash detection using Navisworks/Revizto.
• Prepare landscape drawings, including general arrangements, grading plans, layouts, and details, from rough sketches or general engineering information according to established standards.
• Develop and maintain CAD and BIM libraries, continually improving platform efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with codes and company policies using technical manuals and directives.
• Familiarity with standards and codes such as ISO 19650, BS 1192, etc.
• Compile data and perform calculations for landscape drawings.
• Read orthographic (2D) and isometric (3D) designs and manufacturer drawings.
• Provide training for CAD, Revit, and Civil 3D users.
• Assist in creating and implementing CAD/BIM standards across the firm.
• Perform other related responsibilities as needed.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Architecture, Landscape, Urban Planning, or Urban Design from an accredited institution.
• At least five (5) years of BIM/CAD design experience in a multi-disciplinary environment, preferably landscape projects.
• Proficiency in Autodesk products such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Revit, with strong BIM/CAD process knowledge.
• Experience in BIM/CAD instruction and training.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken, with good communication skills.
• Strong computer skills and experience with design software.
