Job summary

Parsons in Dubai is seeking a skilled BIM / CAD Specialist to join its dynamic design team. This role offers the opportunity to work on iconic urban development and master planning projects, contributing to the design and digital delivery of world-class environments.

The selected candidate will provide expert-level support in BIM and CAD software applications, ensuring design excellence and technical accuracy across multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• 5 years of professional experience in BIM and CAD production for architecture, planning, or infrastructure projects.
• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Civil3D, Microstation, and SketchUp.
• Experience with BIM standards and digital workflows (ISO 19650, BS 1192).
• Strong background in CAD/BIM training, standards implementation, and technical troubleshooting.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
• Professional certifications in Autodesk, Bentley, or ESRI software are highly desirable.
• Experience with urban design or master planning projects preferred.
• Knowledge of parametric modeling, visualization, or 3D rendering tools is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Support design teams by preparing detailed urban planning and architectural layouts.
• Serve as the primary BIM model author and custodian, ensuring model accuracy and coordination.
• Develop and maintain digital asset libraries, templates, and model components.
• Provide technical guidance on BIM and CAD processes to multidisciplinary design teams.
• Ensure drawings and BIM data comply with Parsons' standards and protocols.
• Perform dimensional design calculations and assist in producing engineering documentation.
• Support implementation of BIM workflows across departments.
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to resolve design coordination issues.
• Assist in training team members in CAD/BIM tools and best practices.
• Participate in project QA/QC checks to ensure accuracy and completeness.
