Jumeirah is seeking a Senior Bartender for Pierchic in Jumeirah Al Qasr, Dubai. The role requires crafting cocktails and guiding guests on beverage pairings while delivering exceptional service in a luxury setting.

The candidate should have 2-3 years of international bartending experience, a hospitality qualification, and a good understanding of cultural differences. Knowledge of additional languages is a plus, with opportunities for career growth and a comprehensive benefits package.

• Basic Food Hygiene Training.

Responsibilities

• Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails and other drinks according to recipes.
• Suggest wine and food pairings based on the outlet theme and guest preferences.
• Collaborate with fellow bartenders to ensure smooth service.
• Set up the bar and arrange bottles and glassware for visual appeal.
• Manage bar inventories and monitor perishable garnishes and expiry dates.

About the Job

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Bartender tojoin Pierchic in Jumeirah Al Qasr.

The main duties and responsibilities of this role include:

• Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails and other drinks according to beverage recipes. Curate recipes specialising in fine beverages and unique cocktails in accordance with theme of the outlet/function or as required by guests
• Must be able to assess and manage guests’ needs and recommend excellent wine and food pairing as per theme of the outlet or as required by guests. Where possible, upsell Beverages to guests based on their need, choice, and selection
• Work closely with Bartenders serving all guests and support them as necessary to ensure excellent service delivery
• Setup the bar appropriately, ensuring the visuals and merchandise are placed appropriately. Arrange bottles and glasses to make attractive displays
• Oversee Bar inventories, ensure the checking of expiration dates and that all perishable garnishes are stored and recorded in designated storage area

About You

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

• Diploma/Degree in Hospitality Industry
• Basic Food and Hygiene Training
