A leading maritime technology firm in Dubai is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to innovate and develop scalable Compliance and RegTech solutions. The role involves building secure APIs using Django REST Framework to streamline risk assessment processes. Candidates should have over 5 years of full-stack development experience, possess a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, and demonstrate strong skills in secure coding practices. Qualifications

• Experience in system design, API architecture and data processing pipelines.
• Prior training in Django REST Framework, Angular, or DevOps practices is a plus.
• Understanding of relationship graph modelling tools.

Responsibilities

• Build and own APIs for onboarding, screening, and entity intelligence.
• Ensure performance, versioning, and auditability of APIs.
• Implement industry best practices for secure coding and compliance automation.

Skills

5+ years of full-stack development experience

Strong debugging, troubleshooting and performance optimisation skills

Experience with Django REST Framework

Knowledge of API security best practices

Familiarity with asynchronous task processing
