Job summary

Edenred UAE is seeking a Senior .Net Backend Developer to join our multidisciplinary squad. You will contribute to complex software solutions, collaborate across product, data and design, and help shape the backend strategy.

The role requires extensive C#/.NET experience, microservices and Azure hosting, with a focus on clean code, architecture, and mentorship within a fintech-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in C# and .NET (Core, NET 6+).
• Experience with event-driven architectures, microservices and distributed systems.
• Solid understanding of Entity Framework and SQL; Azure cloud hosting.
• Familiar with .NET testing libraries (XUnit, NSubstitute, Fluent Assertions).
• Experience building/maintaining CI/CD pipelines; knowledge of MassTransit is a plus.

About You

• As a Senior Backend Developer working in a multidisciplinary squad, you will contribute directly to the company-wide objectives with your involvement across different team layers.
• At the squad layer, you will work with your product, data, and design counterparts and other stakeholders to discover, ideate, conduct experiments, and solve customer problems.
• At the chapter layer, you will play a vital role in shaping the vision and strategy of the backend chapter. You will proactively drive key initiatives while coordinating mentorship efforts across the broader tech organization.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of complex software solutions.
• Collaborate with the team to design and implement experiments, leveraging data-driven insights for decision-making.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
• Mentor and guide other developers, providing technical expertise and support.

Technical Qualifications

• Extensive experience in C# and .NET (Core, NET 6+), with a preference for fintech industry experience.
• In-depth knowledge of software development methodologies, design, and coding best practices.
• Experience with event-driven architectures, microservices, and distributed systems, knowledge in Mass Transit is a plus.
• Solid understanding of Entity Framework and SQL database design, optimization, and query performance.
• Knowledge in .NET testing libraries like XUnit, NSubstitute and Fluent Assertions.
• Experience with building and hosting solutions on Azure cloud.
• Experience in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
