Job summary

Emirates is seeking an experienced maintenance engineer in Dubai to perform aircraft and component servicing, calibration, and surface finishing in accordance with AMM, IPC, CMM, and ISO procedures. You will work under Supervisors or Engineers across relevant trade disciplines, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, deferring defects, and conducting calibrations with authorised procedures.

Qualifications

• Degree or Honours (12+3 or equivalent).
• 5+ years of experience in engineering.
• Engineering degree in Aeronautical, Mechanical, Avionics, Electronics or related field, or Aircraft Maintenance Engineering License or Apprenticeship.
• Post-qualification aviation experience with workshop exposure (e.g., Weight & Balance, Avionics, Cabin, Structures, Calibration, Hydraulic, Pneumatic, Fuel & Oil, Landing Gear).

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine component and tool servicing, calibration, maintenance, modification, and/or approved structural repairs in compliance with manufacturers procedures while observing all safety protocols.
• Complete any component or tool maintenance and other tasks as assigned by the immediate Supervisor or Engineers, referencing AMM, IPC, CMM, SPM, and ISO/IEC 17025.
• Assist Supervisors or Engineers in troubleshooting, defect rectification, and performing modifications per job cards.
• Maintain clean work locations and high housekeeping; ensure FOD-free areas and audited toolboxes.
• Promote and uphold a strong safety culture to minimise accidents and report safety shortfalls.
• Ensure prompt attendance to tasks to minimise turnaround time and provide clear handover information.
• Perform testing, verification, servicing, and support for overhaul, repair, refurbishment, inspection, and calibration per workshop manuals.
