Al Tayer Group is seeking a skilled automotive technician in Abu Dhabi to perform repair and maintenance following official manufacturer techniques. The role requires collecting job orders, diagnosing faults, and ensuring efficient use of repair time while maintaining safe and clean work areas.

Applicants should hold a Diploma in Automotive Engineering or ITI Auto Technician Certification, with 2–5 years in a technician role.

Qualifications

• Diploma or ITI in automotive trade required.
• Basic electrical knowledge beneficial.
• Experience as a technician is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collect job orders and materials/tools/equipment to repair vehicles per manufacturers' techniques.
• Ensure accurate fault diagnosis and efficient use of repair time; report delays to Team Leader.
• Authorize additional repairs; book parts to repair orders; manage warranty/credit procedures when applicable.
• Maintain tools and clean lifts/work area; comply with health and safety standards.
• Pursue knowledge upgrades via web courses and classroom trainings.
• Record clocking in/out and write repair orders as required; return/store unused parts properly.
• Be prepared to work extra hours to complete jobs and satisfy customers.
