Job summary

Ecojob in Abu Dhabi is seeking a qualified Auto Mechanic with the ability to work independently and in a team. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles, perform oil changes, tune-ups, and inspect systems to ensure safe operation.

The role requires at least 5 years of automotive experience and familiarity with computerized diagnostic equipment. You will keep detailed maintenance records and provide repair estimates.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience as Automotive Mechanic.
• Strong knowledge of automotive mechanics and computerized systems.
• Ability to read automotive schematics and blueprints; good problem solving skills.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and quick problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical and electronic components of vehicles.
• Perform routine maintenance services such as oil changes, lubrications and tune-ups.
• Inspect vehicles for signs of damage or malfunctions.
• Troubleshoot issues related to engine, transmission, brakes, steering, air conditioning systems etc.
• Repair or replace worn parts such as brakes, shocks, struts etc.
• Test drive vehicles to check for proper functioning after repairs.
• Provide estimates for repair costs and completion times.
• Keep accurate records of all maintenance work performed on each vehicle.
