Job summary

Grant Thornton UAE is seeking a Senior Associate to lead audit engagements from planning through completion and to supervise junior staff. You will prepare and review financial statements, draft management reports, and contribute to audit strategies alongside senior colleagues.

Role involves leveraging AI, analytics and data visualizations to deliver client insights, while staying current with industry trends and ensuring high-quality deliverables for client management.

Responsibilities

• Taking ownership of client engagements from planning to completion
• Preparing or reviewing work papers and drafts of the financial statements
• Producing client deliverables, specifically drafting reports for management review
• Taking a role in audit planning discussions to identify audit risks and devise an appropriate audit strategy
• Supervising, training, and mentoring associates and interns on audit process
• Utilizing artificial intelligence, advanced analytics and data visualizations
• Proactively engaging with clients while offering strategic recommendations for improvement
• Staying acquainted to industry trends through regular professional development activities

Job description

As a Senior Associate, you'll dive into planning, directing, completing audits, reviewing financial statements and related technical accounting services while supervising junior colleagues. As well as collaborating closely with senior colleagues on client engagements to drive success.
