Job summary

EDGE Group PJSC is seeking an Antenna RF Engineer to design, analyse, integrate, and test antenna systems for satellites and RF payloads across the mission lifecycle.

You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure robust performance in space environments, participating in tests, documentation, and interface definitions in a dynamic defense and technology setting.

As an Antenna RF Engineer at FADA you will design, analyse, integrate, and test antenna systems for satellites and RF payloads to ensure reliable performance, compatibility, and robustness in the space environment across the mission lifecycle.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support the design, analysis, and development of antenna and RF subsystems for satellite and SDR payload applications.
• Contribute to integration and test activities to verify subsystem performance and compatibility.
• Assist in the preparation of technical documentation, design data, and interface definitions.
• Participate in laboratory and measurement campaigns, including test setup, execution, and results analysis.
• Work closely with payload, mechanical, digital hardware, and system engineering teams to support end-to-end subsystem integration.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Brilliant and motivated graduates, PhD students, PhDs in the faculties of engineering, physics, mathematics, computer science, interested in the position of Antenna RF Engineer to be included in the company operating in the space sector.
• Availability for national and international travel. The job requires frequent travel abroad to the partner facilities.
• Good knowledge of the English language.
• Desirable Master degree in Physics, Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering or similar.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Foundation in RF, microwave, antenna, and electromagnetic engineering principles.
• Basic understanding of RF and antenna design, simulation, and analysis tools.
• Familiarity with laboratory measurements, antenna measurement concepts, RF test equipment, and test environments.
• Familiarity with RF and antenna engineering software such as CST Studio Suite, Ansys HFSS, Keysight ADS, AWR Microwave Office, or similar tools.
• Interest in satellite payloads, SDR architectures, and antenna/RF subsystems and their integration within the overall platform.
• Awareness of RF compatibility, interference control, mechanical integration, and system-level performance constraints.
• Understanding of design and operational constraints in space systems, including reliability, environmental robustness, and the challenges of the space environment.
• Willingness to learn about payload architectures, link budgets, platform constraints, and end-to-end mission performance.
• Ability to work collaboratively with mechanical, digital hardware, firmware, payload, and system engineering teams.
