Job summary

Masdar is seeking a skilled finance professional to lead asset management activities, focusing on financial modelling, budgeting, and commercial analysis for a portfolio of assets. The role requires deep involvement in performance reporting, contract review, and decision-support for strategic exits.

The ideal candidate has strong modelling capabilities, familiarity with O&M, PPA, and financing agreements, and proven ability to manage multiple projects within an energy transition context.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field with preferably cumulative GPA of 3.5 and above
• Master’s degree, Chartered Financial Analyst certifications will be welcome

Responsibilities

• Support the management of assets proactively from a financial and commercial perspective to optimize value and returns
• Support the management of assets and control the performance of the assigned assets and report to senior management accordingly
• Support the management of assets and update stakeholders proactively on the performance of the assigned asset portfolio
• Identify relevant risks at early stage and communicate mitigation proposals
• Support the management of key contracts relating to the asset e.g Operating & Maintenance (O&M) contract, Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) and all Financing Agreements
• Perform research as needed to make informed decisions
• Build, manage and update the Financial Models relating to the assigned assets
• Complete lenders’ requirements relating to revisions / updates of the FM’s to ensure they are available timely and accurately
