Job summary

Salt in Dubai is seeking a hands-on Senior Art Director to lead art direction for social media and digital work, from concept through production and final delivery. You’ll work closely with the creative, social and production teams to develop ideas, design content and direct shoots.

You will collaborate with teams to ensure top visual quality, brand consistency and impactful storytelling across campaigns for premium clients in luxury, real estate, hospitality and lifestyle sectors.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a creative agency, design studio or content-led environment.
• Portfolio showing strong concepts, design and art direction for social/digital content.
• Advanced skills in Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.
• Experience directing photo and video production from pre-prod to post-prod.
• Strong understanding of social platforms, content formats and visual storytelling.
• Experience with premium brands (luxury, real estate, hospitality, lifestyle or F&B) is a plus.
• Ability to move between developing concepts and hands-on creation.
• Strong communication, collaboration and presentation skills.
• Motion design, video editing or AI-powered tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop creative concepts and visual directions for social media, digital campaigns and brand activations.
• Create moodboards, storyboards, visual references and presentations.
• Design social assets, campaign visuals and digital content (static, carousel, motion, video).
• Plan and art-direct photo and video shoots with photographers and production partners.
• Oversee post-production: selection, retouching, editing and colour grading.
• Maintain visual quality and brand consistency across accounts and projects.
• Present ideas and provide feedback to designers and editors.
• Manage work from brief to delivery in a fast-paced agency environment.
