Job summary

iSpatial Techno Solutions in the United Arab Emirates seeks an experienced GIS Administrator to Install, configure, and manage ArcGIS Enterprise across portals and data stores. You’ll monitor uptime, control access, and drive upgrades and security hardening in a hybrid work model.

The role requires 8+ years in enterprise GIS, strong SQL/DBMS skills, and scripting in Python or PowerShell. You will collaborate with IT and GIS teams to ensure data integrity and governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in GIS, Geography, Computer Science, or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in Enterprise GIS administration.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and administer ArcGIS Enterprise (Portal, Server, Data Store, Web Adaptor).
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure optimal uptime of GIS infrastructure.
• Manage GIS users, roles, permissions, and licensing within enterprise environments.
• Perform system upgrades, patches, and security hardening following best practices.
• Design and implement backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies.
• Maintain and optimize enterprise geodatabases (SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL).
• Automate GIS workflows and administrative tasks using scripting tools (Python, PowerShell).
• Support GIS application deployment, integration, and performance tuning.
• Ensure data integrity, governance, and compliance with organizational standards.
• Collaborate with GIS analysts, developers, and IT teams to deliver enterprise GIS solutions.
• Maintain technical documentation for system architecture, configurations, and processes.
