Job summary

ADASI in Abu Dhabi is seeking an Applied Aerodynamics Engineer with 10+ years of aerospace experience to lead major aerodynamic work packages. The role requires deep expertise in subsonic to hypersonic regimes, CFD tools, wind-tunnel test interpretation, and collaboration across multidisciplinary teams.

The candidate should hold a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with a Master’s or PhD preferred. Proficiency in MATLAB/Python/C/C++ and CAD is highly desirable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in aerospace/related field.
• Master's or PhD preferred in aerodynamics or CFD.
• Typically 10+ years of relevant aerospace experience.
• Experience applying aerodynamic analysis to full aircraft or major components.
• Strong knowledge of subsonic to hypersonic aerodynamics.
• Proficiency with CFD tools, CAD, and scripting environments.
• Experience with wind-tunnel tests and data interpretation.
• Fluent written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Lead significant aerodynamic work packages with limited supervision.
• Prepare controlled analyses, aerodynamic-data reports, and substantiation evidence.
• Correlate analytical, CFD, wind-tunnel, and flight-test data.
• Support multidisciplinary design trades and lifecycle reviews.
