Job summary

A leading services provider in Abu Dhabi is seeking an API Integration Engineer to design, develop, and manage secure APIs within a banking environment. The role involves seamless integration between systems, platforms, and partners, ensuring compliance with security and regulatory standards. Ideal candidates should have a Bachelor's in Computer Science, 6–10 years of Banking/Fintech experience, and expertise in API and cloud technologies.

Qualifications

• 6–10 years of experience in Banking/Fintech.
• Relevant integration or cloud certifications (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Design and implement middleware and integration solutions aligned with enterprise architecture and regulatory standards.
• Manage the full API lifecycle through API Gateway platforms.
• Develop and maintain REST/SOAP APIs ensuring high performance, scalability, and security.
• Collaborate with architecture, security, and business teams to support digital transformation initiatives.
• Ensure proper documentation, monitoring, and compliance of all integrations.

Skills

API development (REST/SOAP) and microservices architecture
