Job summary

flydubai is seeking a skilled Base Maintenance Planner to develop and coordinate aircraft maintenance events in Dubai. The role focuses on optimizing manpower, materials, and hangar resources to ensure efficient workflow and industry-leading TAT.

The candidate must have 5–7 years in aviation maintenance planning, strong English skills, and experience with AMOS and Microsoft Office. Regulatory compliance and cost control are key aspects of the job.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in aviation or maintenance discipline.
• Excellent English communication skills.
• 5–7 years of relevant maintenance planning experience.
• Experience with audits, process improvement, and complex planning.

Responsibilities

• Develops detailed project plans, work packages, and maintenance schedules for heavy checks and tasks.
• Coordinates task sequencing and resource allocation to minimize downtime and meet TAT targets.
• Monitors progress through status reviews and adjusts plans based on operational requirements.
• Ensures alignment with regulatory requirements, OEM instructions, and SMS standards.
• Analyzes production costs and identifies opportunities to reduce waste, rework, and overtime.
• Plans workload distribution according to technician skills, certifications, and availability.
• Identifies bottlenecks and gaps across maintenance workflows.
• Uses dashboards and planning software to enhance transparency and decisions.
• Acts as central coordinator between engineering, production, supply chain, quality and commercial teams.
• Leads daily/weekly production meetings and communicates progress and recovery plans.
