Job summary

qlub is scaling rapidly in the UAE and beyond, seeking a Software Engineer to build, ship, and deliver payment services from day one. You will work with engineers, operators, and partners to turn frictionless payments into measurable growth for restaurants.

The role emphasizes AI-assisted development, secure architecture, and scalable integrations with POS systems and third‑party providers. You will design and maintain highly reliable payment flows, implement guardrails for agentic systems, and

Qualifications

Proven experience in building production-grade software applications.
Fluency in English is a must.
Hands-on experience with Golang.
Strong knowledge of REST APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
Experience with AI tooling, LLM APIs, and tool calling is advantageous.
Experience with secure software development and observability.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and operate secure, scalable payment services and gateways.
Integrate with POS systems, payment providers, and third-party platforms.
Leverage AI-assisted tools for development, debugging, testing, and documentation.
Develop AI-powered workflows that call tools and interact with internal systems.
Implement permissions, guardrails, observability, and auditability for agentic systems.
Identify bottlenecks and improve performance, security, and cost efficiency.
Write clean, tested, well-documented code following security best practices.
Contribute to architectural decisions and continuous improvement.
