Job summary

Zayed University in Abu Dhabi is seeking qualified candidates to teach courses in the Social Innovation department on its Abu Dhabi campus starting January 2027. The successful candidate will teach Political Science, International Relations, and Public Policy using an active learning pedagogy and mentor students in their academic and professional development.

Qualifications

• PhD in Political Science or related field recognized by UAE MOE.
• Teaching experience at undergraduate or graduate level focusing on Political Science, International Relations, or Public Policy.
• Active learning experience in higher-education pedagogy.
• Experience leading capstone projects or industry partnerships and student supervision.
• Must hold a valid UAE residency visa.

Responsibilities

• Teach courses online and on-campus with active learning pedagogy.
• Engage students in critical thinking and mentor them in their academic and professional development.
