Job summary

A leading contracting organization in Abu Dhabi is looking for an Accounting Manager to oversee daily accounting operations, ensure compliance with IFRS, and prepare financial statements. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Accounting or Finance, professional certification, and at least 10 years of progressive accounting experience including 5 years in a managerial role. This position offers the opportunity to lead a team and enhance financial accuracy through technology.

Qualifications

• 10 years of progressive accounting experience with minimum 5 years in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting standards.
• Demonstrated expertise in the development and construction of building sectors and villa compounds.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
• Ensure timely and accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures in compliance with IFRS and local regulations.
