Job summary

Tanqeeb is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to oversee financial reporting, close processes, internal controls, budgeting, audits, and tax compliance in a healthcare-focused corporate environment.

The role emphasizes data integrity, analytical insights, team mentorship, and collaboration with auditors and stakeholders to drive financial performance.

Candidates should have CPA or CA, a Master’s degree, 5+ years in accounting, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level or higher degree in accounting/finance with strong analytical abilities.
• Professional certifications (CPA/CA) are mandatory for credibility in this role.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting/finance experience in a corporate health care setting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee preparation of financial reports ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Manage month-end and year-end closes including reconciliations and variance analysis.
• Develop and implement internal controls to mitigate financial risks and improve efficiency.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting by analyzing historical data for trends.
• Coordinate with auditors during annual audits and provide required documentation.
• Prepare tax returns and ensure compliance with applicable tax regulations.
• Maintain and update accounting systems, ensuring data integrity and best practices.
• Lead financial analysis projects to identify growth drivers and opportunities.
• Train and mentor junior accounting staff and promote continuous improvement.
• Stay updated on accounting regulations and adapt practices accordingly.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Mater's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years Experience in Health Care Industry.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Accountant (CA) certification is mandatory for credibility.
• Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance roles within a corporate environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret financial data and recommend actionable solutions.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey complex information to stakeholders.
• Due to nationality diversification , we prefer Non Indian candidates.
