We are partnering with a tech-enabled hospitality firm and a leading provider in the luxury hospitality sector, offering innovative accommodation experiences. They are looking for a Finance Manager/ Senior Accountant to join their team in Dubai.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and oversee a Finance/Accounting team, ensuring efficient operations and high performance.
  • Manage the monthly and annual preparation of profit and loss accounts and balance sheets.
  • Monitor and control receivables and payables, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Prepare detailed MIS reports and analyses to support management in decision-making.
  • Oversee general ledger entries and maintain precise financial documentation.
  • Collaborate with clients and suppliers to reconcile accounts and foster strong relationships.
  • Execute monthly entries for depreciation, amortization, and deductions.
  • Validate trial balances and ensure financial reporting compliance.
  • Accurately allocate receipts to generate and manage debtors aging schedules.
  • Prepare comprehensive audit schedules and work closely with auditors for financial submissions.
  • Verify and vouch for supplier payments, ensuring proper procedures are followed.
  • Conduct monthly bank reconciliations and liaise with banking institutions as needed.
  • Prepare and submit VAT filings and corporate tax documentation quarterly.
  • Provide ad-hoc financial reporting as required.
Requirements
  • Currently based in the UAE with a minimum of 2 years of local experience.
  • Holds at least 5 years of progressive accounting experience, including account finalization and closing.
  • Possesses an internationally recognized accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CA, CPA, CMA, or equivalent).
  • Demonstrated experience working with auditors for annual financial audits.
  • Deep understanding of UAE VAT and corporate tax practices.
  • Proactive and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Fluent in English with strong communication and analytical skills.
  • Proficient in accounting software (e.g., Peachtree, Tally, QuickBooks, Xero, or similar) and advanced in MS Excel.
