Senior Accountant

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our dynamic team in Ajman. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial activities of our company and ensuring compliance with accounting principles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
• Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual closing procedures
• Prepare and analyze financial reports to identify variances and provide recommendations for improvement
• Monitor and manage accounts payable and receivable processes
• Review and reconcile bank statements on a regular basis
• Ensure compliance with all applicable accounting standards, laws, and regulations
• Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate recording of financial transactions
• Train and mentor junior accounting staff when necessary

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Minimum of 5 years experience as an Accountant or similar role
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations
• Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
• Proficient in using accounting software (Quickbooks preferred)
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, vlookups)
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Excellent communication skills in English (Arabic would be an advantage)
• Indian nationality preferred

Salary: AED 1300 per month (negotiable based on experience)

This is a full time position with visa sponsorship available for the right candidate.
