Job summary

Peace Global Logistic Shipping LLC is seeking an experienced finance leader to oversee daily accounting operations, GL management, and intercompany reporting. You will coordinate with regional heads to support performance monitoring and drive improvements in financial processes.

The role requires 4–5 years in accounting within freight/logistics, supervisory experience, and familiarity with QuickBooks, Tally, or Focus. ACCA/CPA advantage is noted.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CA Inter qualification.
• Professional accounting certifications (ACCA/CPA) are an advantage.
• 4–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in freight forwarding or supply chain.

• Manage daily accounting operations, ensuring accurate and timely recording of financial transactions.
• Maintain and manage the General Ledger (GL), including journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Oversee Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR), ensuring timely invoice processing, payments, collections, and follow-up on outstanding balances.
• Manage billing operations and ensure the accurate preparation and issuance of customer invoices in accordance with contractual agreements and operational records.
• Prepare and review intercompany financial reports and reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and consistency across different countries and regional offices.
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, statutory requirements, and periodic financial reporting obligations.
• Prepare periodic financial statements, management reports, and financial analyses to support decision-making and business performance monitoring.
• Coordinate with operational heads across different countries and regions to provide financial insights, monitor costs, resolve discrepancies, and improve financial performance.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, internal controls, and financial systems to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and transparency within the finance function.
• Supervise and guide accounting team members, review their work, ensure adherence to financial procedures, and support the timely completion of reporting and compliance requirements.
