Overview

We are looking for afull-time remote Accountantwith strong hands-on experience inUAE accounting regulations, includingVAT and Corporate Tax compliance. Experience in theoil & gas and/or shipping/logistics industryis a strong advantage.

The ideal candidate will independently manage accounting operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and support management with accurate financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain full sets of accounts in accordance withUAE accounting standards
• Prepare, reviewand file monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• HandleUAE VAT compliance:
• VAT returns
• VAT reconciliations
• FTA compliance and record-keeping
• SupportUAE Corporate Taxcompliance and reporting
• Manage accounts payable and receivable
• Bank reconciliations and cash flow monitoring
• Handlemulti-currency transactions
• Liaise with auditors, tax consultants, and management as required
• Maintain proper documentation for audits and regulatory inspections

Qualifications

Proven experience as anAccountant handling UAE-based companies

Strong knowledge of:

• UAE VAT laws
• UAE Corporate Tax regulations
• IFRS (preferred)
• Experience inoil & gas, shipping, or logistics industries (preferred)
• Previous experience working withfree zone or mainland UAE entities (preferred)

Experience using accounting software such as:

• QuickBooks, Xero, SAP, Oracle, or similar

Ability to workindependently in a remote setup

Excellent attention to detail and compliance

Strong communication skills in English
