Job description

Security Guard - School Operations in Dubai, United Arab Emirates is a full-time Education sector role for a responsible and alert security professional who can support school safety, access control, visitor management, and daily campus security operations.

This role is suitable for candidates who are available to join immediately, with preference given to applicants who have completed SIRA training and have experience in maintaining a safe and secure school environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor school entrances, exits, gates, parking areas, and assigned security points.
• Control visitor access and ensure all visitors follow school entry and registration procedures.
• Check identification, issue visitor passes, and guide visitors to the appropriate school office or department.
• Support student safety during arrival, dismissal, break times, events, and school movement periods.
• Patrol school premises to identify safety concerns, suspicious activity, or unauthorized access.
• Report incidents, hazards, security concerns, maintenance issues, or emergencies to school administration.
• Assist in maintaining a calm, safe, and orderly environment across the school campus.
• Support emergency response procedures, evacuation drills, and safety instructions when required.
• Coordinate with school administration, transport staff, facilities teams, and security supervisors.
• Help manage traffic flow and parent movement near the school entrance when assigned.
• Ensure school property, equipment, and facilities are protected from damage, misuse, or unauthorized access.
• Maintain security logs, visitor records, incident reports, and daily duty notes accurately.
• Follow school safeguarding, health and safety, and security procedures at all times.
• Perform other security and school operations duties assigned by the administration.

Ideal Profile & Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Security Guard is preferred.
• SIRA training or SIRA certification is preferred.
• Experience working in a school, education facility, residential community, commercial building, or similar environment is an advantage.
• Must be available to join immediately.
• Responsible, alert, disciplined, and professional in conduct.
• Good communication skills for interacting with students, parents, visitors, staff, and vendors.
• Ability to remain calm and respond appropriately during incidents or emergencies.
• Good understanding of access control, visitor management, patrol duties, and safety procedures.
• Physically fit and able to stand, walk, patrol, and manage assigned duty areas.
• Punctual, reliable, and able to follow instructions from school administration.
• Respectful attitude with strong awareness of student safety, confidentiality, and school discipline.
