The successful candidate will have experience working as a Second Mate and be knowledgeable about maritime regulations and safety standards. Responsibilities include:
• Navigating the ship safely and legally according to international maritime regulations.
• Supervising crew members while at sea, ensuring all duties are completed correctly and efficiently.
• Completing paperwork accurately to maintain accurate records of voyage activity.
• Inspecting the ship’s equipment and machinery regularly to ensure it is functioning properly.
