Job summary

Ecojob in the United Arab Emirates is seeking an experienced Truck Driver to join our team in Al Ain. You will operate company trucks to transport goods along designated routes, ensuring safety and timely deliveries.

We offer a monthly salary of 1,000 USD plus accommodation. Candidates should have at least two years of truck driving experience, a clean driving record, and the ability to read maps and follow written instructions. English communication is required; Arabic is a plus.

Qualifications

• Valid biometric passport; Indian nationality preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a truck driver.
• Clean driving record with no major traffic violations.
• Ability to read maps and follow written instructions.
• Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects.
• Good communication in English; Arabic proficiency is a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate company trucks following all traffic laws and regulations.
• Load and unload goods and materials onto the truck.
• Plan and follow designated routes to ensure timely delivery of goods.
• Maintain accurate records of shipments, including delivery times, mileage, fuel usage, etc.
• Conduct routine inspections of the truck to ensure it is in good working condition.
• Report any vehicle malfunctions or accidents immediately to the supervisor.
• Communicate with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any delays or issues that may arise.
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures while operating the truck and handling goods.
