Job summary

Work standard in Sharjah, UAE, seeks experienced Waiters/Waitresses for a popular restaurant during the seasonal period. The role requires fluent English and previous waiter/waitress experience, with Pakistani or African candidates preferred.

Responsibilities include greeting guests, taking orders, serving meals and drinks, and ensuring guest satisfaction. Accommodation and visa sponsorship are provided; extension possible based on performance. Evening/weekend availability expected.

Qualifications

• Previous waiter/waitress experience preferred.
• Fluent English; Arabic a plus but not required.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 25lbs if necessary.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Take accurate food and drink orders from customers.
• Serve food and drinks to guests in a timely manner.
• Ensure customer satisfaction by regularly checking on them throughout their meal.
• Handle customer inquiries or complaints with patience and professionalism.
• Maintain cleanliness of the restaurant, including tables, chairs, and dining area.
• Assist with setting up tables and preparing for service.
• Handle payments from customers using cash or credit card transactions.
• Follow all safety and sanitation procedures to ensure a clean and safe work environment.
