Job summary

SmartAgro in Sharjah is seeking a Seasonal Truck Driver to join our logistics team. You will safely transport goods to various locations and support on-the-job training as needed.

This seasonal role requires a valid CDL, a clean driving record, and the ability to meet drug and alcohol tests. English proficiency is preferred; accommodation is provided for the duration of the seasonal period, with potential for full-time employment afterward.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL with a clean driving record.
• Ability to pass drug/alcohol tests and background checks.
• Physically fit with ability to lift up to 50 lbs; good communication in English and Filipino.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain company trucks in a safe and efficient manner.
• Load and unload goods and materials onto the truck.
• Plan routes and follow delivery schedules.
• Communicate with dispatchers, customers and other drivers to coordinate deliveries.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Complete accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel usage, etc.
• Conduct routine inspections of the truck and report any issues or necessary repairs.
