Job summary

International Schools Partnership Limited in Abu Dhabi is seeking a dedicated Bus/Teacher Assistant to support early years and transport duties. You will assist with lesson activities, prepare materials, supervise children, and help maintain safeguarding standards across daily routines.

You will work as part of a collaborative school team, communicating effectively in English and ensuring the safety and welfare of every child during lessons, transit, and playtimes, in line with ISP policies.

Qualifications

• Minimum diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years’ school experience as a bus/teacher assistant.

Responsibilities

• Contributes to lesson planning and assessment processes including organization of books/files.
• Prepares materials or equipment for class lessons, group work or for individual children.
• Leads & assists groups of children with their tasks.
• Reads stories to groups of children.
• Prepares ICT equipment for class use.
• Accompanies children on visits.
• Maintains confidentiality about personal details revealed by the children.
• Reports incidents to Teacher and/or Head of Early Years per Safeguarding Policy.
• Maintains and promotes the School’s professional reputation.
• Transport children to school and ensures safe boarding.
• Maintains safe conditions while traveling and enforces safety rules.
• Completes daily safety inspections for the bus.
