Orbitworks, based in Abu Dhabi at KEZAD, seeks a Senior Industrial Engineer to lead the industrialization of satellite products and build scalable production capability. You will connect product design, assembly, test methods, and facilities to deliver mid‑mix, mid‑to‑low‑volume production.

Qualifications

• 7–12 years in industrial, manufacturing, or production engineering.
• Direct hands-on experience in satellite assembly, integration, test, or space hardware production.
• Own an integrated industrialization workstream through deployment, ramp-up, and handover.
• Strong capacity modeling and line balancing skills with auditable models.
• Production engineering depth: routings, work instructions, tooling, layout, and producibility.
• Clear technical English and concise written communication; willingness to work onsite in Abu Dhabi.

Responsibilities

• Own the industrialization strategy and delivery plan, including rate targets, work packages, milestones, budgets, and risks.
• Define build sequence, routings, flows, and data needs with Engineering/D2M and AIT.
• Build capacity models from execution data and balance cells to required production rate.
• Develop layouts, workstations, material flow, buffers, WIP policies, and zoning.
• Define and deliver asset work packages for ground support equipment, test assets, utilities, and facility changes.
• Lead the industrialization interface with external partners on data, tooling, training, and test interfaces.
• Lead readiness assessments and secure production-release decisions.
• Lead pilots and ramp-up, validate assumptions, resolve constraints, demonstrate rate and quality targets.
• Define rate, lead-time, WIP, capacity, labor, quality metrics and drive improvements.
• Develop investment options and reusable models and standards.
