Overview

We are hiring for one of our major clients for the below requirement.

Employment Type: 18 months contract with possibility of extension

Notice Period: Immediate joiners to a maximum of 15-30 days of notice

Qualifications

• 8+ years of SAP experience with at least 3 full-cycle implementations, including S / 4HANA.
• Define and manage the end-to-end SAP testing strategy across all phases: Unit Testing, System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), Regression, and Performance Testing, in collaboration with the implementation partner.
• Oversee the implementation partner’s adherence to the Test Plan, including scope, schedule, entry / exit criteria, test cycles, and defect management.
• Manage testing standards, templates, and test tool configuration.
• Periodically review unit testing results to ensure quality and consistency.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams and complex business process landscapes.
• Deep understanding of SAP modules and business process flows (e.g., OTC, P2P, RTR).
• Ability to manage risks, dependencies, and escalations in high-pressure environments.
• Proficient in tools such as SAP Solution Manager, JIRA, Azure DevOps, HP ALM, Excel, and MS Project.
• Lead Regression Testing scenario planning and execution oversight.
• Host weekly regression testing meetings to ensure quality and consistency.
• Participate in SIT and UAT test scenario and script definition.
• Work closely with the implementation partner to define the Cutover Strategy and Execution Plan for transition from legacy SAP ECC to SAP S / 4HANA.
• Define governance, communication protocols, rollback procedures, and success criteria for cutover activities.
• Lead resources through mock cutovers and production cutover cycles.
• Ensure cutover readiness assessments, risk mitigation, stakeholder alignment, and contingency planning.
• Contribute to and support Go / No-Go meetings and presentations.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field and certifications like SAP S / 4HANA Project Management or Testing Certification, ISTQB or equivalent software testing certification, PMP or PRINCE2 are highly preferred.
